This is how we decide what to write, what to recommend, and when to update a guide. It applies to every article on Ieveera SEO, in every category.
Three rules we don’t break
We read the agreement, not the ad
Every guide starts from the provider’s own terms, fee schedule and disclosures — the official issuer page, not a press release or a marketing email. If a number isn’t in the documents, it doesn’t go in the guide.
Rankings can’t be bought
Advertising and affiliate relationships fund the site (see How we make money), but they don’t decide what ranks where. When a “best” pick depends on your credit score, income or province, we say so instead of pretending one answer fits everyone.

Dated, and re-checked
Rates and terms move. Every guide carries an “updated” date, and we re-verify it on a schedule against the issuer’s current page. When something changes, the date changes with it — we don’t leave stale numbers live.
Our sources
We work from the issuer’s official site, its rate and fee disclosures, and public regulatory filings where relevant. We don’t rely on third-party summaries when the primary source is available. Numbers can still change after we publish — always check the current terms with the issuer before you apply.
Corrections
Found something out of date, or just plain wrong? Tell us and we’ll check it and fix it.
